Kristin Fisher joined the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. In her position as the Space and Defence Correspondent at CNN, she's responsible to cover everything ranging from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the rise and development of space tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now worked as a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Biden and Trump Administrations' positions in space matters. In that period she also reported on two impeachment trials for the president as well as the 2020 presidential campaign, as well as two administration's attempts to control the pandemic of coronavirus. She also traveled with President Trump and the Vice President often. This included a secret visit to Afghanistan.
